Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development

Science and Technology aims to develop scientific conciousness and scientific literacy among us to help improve our lives and also the people around us.

In our world today, there are lot of things which we don't have for the many years ago. Because of Science there are lot of inventions which greatly help in doing our everyday tasks. Some inventions makes our work easier and faster. This prove that we are now undergoing development.

We should be aware of the origins and development of the concepts that make up today's scientific body of knowledge. We should also realize how science and technology affect our lives. Scientific literacy should be evident not only in the student's ability to read and understand scientific literature, but also in our capability to apply what we learn. We should appreciates the latest developments in Science and we understand the consequences of scientific and technological development.

Science and scientific learning are above all activity-oriented. Students, grasp the scientific and technological concepts and developments. Many of the problems one society faces in this millenium need the action of energetic and scientifically-minded people, so, we should appreciate SCIENCE!!!!!!

Filipino language, is important.... "Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pang hayop sa malansang isda" this is one of the popular sayings from Dr. Jose P. Rizal. We must love our own language, the Filipino language..

Manuel L. Quezon is designated as the "Father of our National Languge" was born in Baler, Quezon. So we can say that in this place, the Filipino language was originated. He instituted the use of Filipino language until it became the official language of the Philippines.

Filipino language was adopted from native and foreign language. Filipino is very easy to lean it is pronounced according to syllables. Practice speaking Filipino. Learn to love it!!!!!

Knowledge Gained in TLE IV During the Past Two Months

Another school year, another teacher, another topics and lessons. During the past two months in TLE ICT IV, I have learned a lot of things. First, I came to know about the INTERNET-its history. I learned when, where the internet started and also who are the persons started the using of internet. Our teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz discussed to us on how to create our own blog. I'm so happy because I have now my own blog and I have now three posts.

Luckily in TLE IV during the past two months I did not yet encounter any problems. So I do hope that this coming months, lessons and topics I will not encounter any problem like for what I've experienced for the past two months.

I will try my very best to cope with the lessons that we'll going to discuss withh this coming days. i will try to participate and cooperate during discussions. "A person who wants to learn, needs patience."

"Speaking English is a BIG DEAL"

English language is used extensively as a second language and as an official language in commonwealth countries and many international organization.Historically english originated from several dialects. It is now collectively termed old English which were brought to Great Britain by Anglo-Saxon settlers beginning in the 5th century. Modern English sometimes describes as the first global lingua franca which is the dominant international language in communication, science, business, aviation, entertainment, radio and diplomacy. A working knowledge of english has been a requirement in a number of fields, occupations and professions.
When you already know how to speak and understand english you have in your hands a storehouse of fun, knowledge, wisdom and truth. With it you will be able to develop the proper skills and attitudes necessary in coping with the demands of today. When you already know the english language it's just you enjoy your day-to-day activities. Knowing how to speak english is a big deal to our part because we can express our thoughts, ideas and feelings freely and clearly and also we can develop self confidence necessary in interacting with people around us-our family, teachers, friends, neighbors and many others. And as you deal and communicate with them you will be able to practice the proper communication skills and values. These skills and values will make you not only a responsible, productive, and caring person but as a true Filipino for times and places.
